This is our decision, to live fast and die young

To greet someone just for the sake of doing it. What happens if you don't? An awkward silence? One trying not to look the other in the eye? One sits at the front of the bus and hopes that the person he/she used to know who is sitting in the back doesn't notice she/he gets on. Lame. They are both aware of the fact that they both are on this bus. Maybe, as one walks towards the glass doors to get off, they accidentally meet eyes.. oh no, not part of the plan. The plan was for both to look out the window and not even acknowledge each other. So what happens now? Oh yes, of famous awkward silence I mentioned earlier. Yes, it is bound to happen sooner or later.. along with the shy smile which they both know says "I am only doing this because I must, so please don't talk to me" LOUD AND CLEAR. They both get the point. One gets off. What happens the next time they meet? Same story all over again. Somehow I want to break these patterns. Would it be alright if the next this happened I would just stand up  and speak LOUD AND CLEAR? Anyone who is willing to listen is more than wecome to. "TALK TO ME" is all I want to say. Not that I am lonely, I am just tired of these awkward encounters. But, ofcourse I can't stand up and speak my mind. That would just be awkward, eh?
